Shamanic Reiki & Energy Healing in Port Townsend, Washington
Shamanic Reiki and energy healing sessions at Lilac & Fig Integrative Healing Studio offer a quiet, grounding space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and receive support for whatever season of life you may be moving through.
Located at Point Hudson in Port Townsend, Washington, Lilac & Fig offers individualized Reiki and energy healing sessions for those seeking relaxation, grounding, emotional balance, spiritual connection, and support through grief and life transitions.
You do not need to understand Reiki, consider yourself spiritual, or arrive knowing exactly what you need. Curiosity is enough.
What Is Shamanic Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle form of energy healing that works with the body's energetic system to encourage relaxation, balance, and a greater sense of well-being.
Shamanic Reiki expands upon traditional Reiki by incorporating practices inspired by shamanic healing traditions and a deeper awareness of the relationship between mind, body, spirit, energy, and the natural world.
At Lilac & Fig, I approach this work intuitively. No two sessions are exactly alike because no two people arrive carrying exactly the same things.
Your session may include traditional hands-on or hands-above-the-body Reiki, intuitive energy work, grounding practices, chakra work, guided visualization, sound, or other supportive practices as appropriate.
Everything is offered with your comfort, consent, and personal beliefs in mind.
What Can Reiki Support?
People seek Reiki and energy healing for many different reasons.
Some simply want an hour where they do not have to do anything, solve anything, or take care of anyone else.
Others find their way to Reiki during periods of change, uncertainty, grief, emotional exhaustion, or spiritual exploration.
Reiki may offer supportive space for:
Relaxation and stress reduction
Grounding and reconnecting with yourself
Emotional balance
Grief and loss
Major life transitions
Spiritual exploration and awakening
Feeling energetically depleted or overwhelmed
Developing greater awareness of your intuition
Creating intentional time for rest and reflection
Reiki is a complementary wellness practice and is not a substitute for medical or mental health care. You are always encouraged to continue working with your healthcare providers and other members of your support team.
What Happens During a Reiki Session?
We begin by talking.
You are welcome to share what has been happening in your life, what brought you in, or what you hope to receive from your session. You are equally welcome to simply say, “I'm not really sure. I just felt like I needed to be here.”
From there, you will settle comfortably onto the Reiki table, fully clothed.
During the energy healing portion of the session, I work intuitively with Reiki and other energetic practices. You may notice warmth, tingling, heaviness, lightness, emotion, imagery, memories, deep relaxation, or very little at all.
There is no particular experience you are supposed to have.
Your only job is to rest and receive.
Afterward, we allow time to gently return, talk about your experience, and explore anything that may have come forward during the session.
Reiki & Spiritual Guidance
My Reiki practice is deeply intuitive, and sometimes information, imagery, feelings, or impressions arise during our work together.
When appropriate, I may share those impressions with you after your Reiki session—not as absolute answers or predictions, but as invitations for reflection.
You remain the authority on your own experience.
Sometimes something I share will immediately resonate. Sometimes it will not. You are always encouraged to take what feels meaningful and leave what does not.
For those wanting additional time to explore what arises, Reiki can also be paired with spiritual guidance.
Reiki for Grief & Life Transitions
Reiki can be especially meaningful during the times when life no longer looks quite the way it did before.
Grief, caregiving, relationship changes, relocation, spiritual awakening, identity shifts, beginnings, endings, and other significant transitions can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves.
You do not need to come to Reiki to “fix” any of those experiences.
Sometimes what is needed is simply a place where you can stop carrying everything for a little while.
My work with grief and end-of-life has deeply influenced the way I practice Reiki. There is room here for sadness, uncertainty, joy, anger, questions, silence, laughter, spirituality, skepticism, and everything in between.
You Don't Have to Believe in Reiki
You are welcome to be curious.
You are welcome to be skeptical.
You are welcome to have questions.
There is no belief system required to receive Reiki, and I will never ask you to adopt mine.
For some people, Reiki is deeply spiritual. For others, it is simply an opportunity to become quiet, relax deeply, and intentionally reconnect with themselves.
Both experiences are welcome.
